Are my audio files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool processes audio inside your browser with the Web Audio API or an in-browser encoder, so your recordings stay on your device. There is no upload step and no queue.
What audio formats does SonicLab support?
You can open MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG and M4A/AAC audio, and MP4 video for audio extraction. Effects export as MP3 or lossless WAV, and the converters also produce OGG, FLAC and ALAC files.
Do I need to download any software?

Can SonicLab find the key and BPM of a song?
Yes. The Key Finder detects a song's musical key and scale, the BPM Finder measures its tempo from the audio, and the Tempo Tapper finds the BPM as you tap along to the beat.
